Yod Khun Po is depicted as Buddha dressed in warrior costume. This majestic Phra Yod Khun Pon originated a few hundred years ago and are commonly worn by warriors, generals and kings for protection against weapons (GringKhaPhan)  2.) Power of Authority (Maha Ammnaj) and Victory in Battle (Maha Chaiyo). The name Yod Khun Pon literally means Yod(Top) and Khun Pon (Warlord), hence the image of the amulet in warrior's costume.
